High-Protein Banana Bread Bagels 🤤

Hi Reader,

I’ve been on a bit of a breakfast kick lately, and this week I have two new recipes for you depending on whether you’re craving something sweet and cozy or savory and satisfying!

First up are my High-Protein Banana Bread Bagels, and I am SO excited about these. They have all the cozy sweetness of banana bread combined with the hearty texture of a bagel - and each one packs 20 grams of protein! They’re incredibly easy to make with no yeast, rising, or boiling required, and they are sooo good toasted until lightly crisp and slathered with butter or cream cheese.

And for my savory breakfast people, I also shared a Chorizo Breakfast Casserole this week! It’s packed with flavorful chorizo, potatoes, veggies, eggs, and cheese for a hearty breakfast that’s easy to make and great for meal-prep. The chorizo really shines in this one, and I think a dollop of sour cream on top makes it even better!

If you make one of my recipes, I’d love to hear how it turned out! Leaving a star rating and a quick review on the recipe post is one of the best ways you can support Home-Cooked Living. It also helps other readers find and feel confident trying the recipe, and I truly appreciate every single one!!

Have a wonderful weekend,

I also posted a new pot roast recipe - it's a Mushroom Sage Pot Roast that is hearty and full of rich, savory flavor. A classic chuck roast is slowly braised until fall-apart tender with plenty of mushrooms, leeks,...
