Blueberry Pandowdy 🫐

Hi Reader,

I posted a fun and old-fashioned recipe: Blueberry Pandowdy!

Fun fact about me: I’m subscribed to a daily “History Facts” email, and that’s actually how I discovered pandowdy a few months ago! As soon as I read about this old-fashioned dessert, I knew I wanted to make my own version. 😊

After a few rounds of testing, it’s finally ready! I wanted to stay true to the traditional creation by keeping the ingredients simple and making sure the “dowdy” was done the traditional way. Although pandowdies were usually made with apples, my version uses frozen blueberries because I love how easy they are to work with (I definitely plan to post an apple version this fall, though!). I also homemade a pie crust and swapped the traditional brown sugar for coconut sugar. It’s rustic, cozy, perfectly messy, and absolutely delicious with a scoop of homemade ice cream. I hope you love it as much as I do!
