Hi Reader, I hope you are enjoying some crisp fall air wherever you are! It's still quite warm in Texas, but I'm definitely still embracing the fall season through cooking and baking! September just calls for the start of pumpkin season, right?! I posted a Brown Butter Pumpkin Streusel Muffin recipe on my website, and I think you are going to LOVE it. It's such a fun combination for pumpkin muffins! On another note, I also posted a Chili Oil Sardine Dip for those who love a little spice, lots of omega-3's, and a fun and unique appetizer! I've actually also been enjoying it as a light lunch that's protein-packed and filling. The base is made with whole milk yogurt, sardines, fresh lemon, and dill, then topped with a homemade chili oil made with sautéed shallots and garlic, walnuts, red pepper flakes, and paprika. The chili oil is definitely my favorite part and really takes the recipe to another level! It is a savory, zesty, and slightly spicy. It's absolutely delicious served with toasted sourdough, crackers, or sliced veggies for scooping. I hope you love these recipes!! As always, if you make one of my recipes, I’d love to hear how it turned out! Even a quick star rating or little review on the recipe is so appreciated. I love hearing about what you’re making! 🤎 Have a wonderful weekend, Christine Manes |

They're savory, fresh, and nourishing! And for this week’s Harry Potter movie night, I made homemade...

These biscuits are perfectly tender and fluffy, they use just a handful of ingredients, and they are very beginner-friendly! I also posted a new pot roast recipe - it's a Mushroom Sage Pot Roast that is hearty and full of rich, savory flavor. A classic chuck roast is slowly braised until fall-apart tender with plenty of mushrooms, leeks,...
